We at The Mayday Network are holding a free webinar this week on sustainable business travel that we think could be of interest to your website visitors and would appreciate it if you could place information about it onto your website.
Travelling sustainably for, to, and from work is enabling organisations to reduce costs, be more productive, and make more efficient use of resources. Not only do businesses, people, and the environment all benefit from sustainable daily travel, but the need for cost control and efficiency in the marketplace today has never been greater.
It aims to provide an insight into how the initiative ‘ways2work’ can support your business. Speakers will include business leaders from businesses such as West London Transport Development, GlaxoSmithKline and Telfonica O2 . They are already reaping the benefits of work related travel impacts.
The webinar will also give suggestions on how to embed sustainable business travel and using technology as an alternative to travel into your core business strategy.
I am doing a certificate course at Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada in Sustainability Development. I have been working in the IT sector for the last 20 years and would like to get more information how I can apply my experience, knowledge gained and initiative into sustainable practices. I would really appreciate guidance in my endeavor to get the ball rolling.
Hi Lisa,
Send me email at dave@earthpm.com and we can connect for a further discussion. I am presently working on a course in Green IT and am collecting lots of interesting information I can share with you. I would also like to get some more information from you.
