Below is a link to a nice story about Climate Gate (the story around scientists allegedly fudging data on climate change).

It’s tied in to COP15 and if you watch the video, you’ll get to see an interview with Dan Esty, one of the authors of one of our favorite books on the topic of the environment, “Green to Gold“.

Anyway, here is the link.  Enjoy the comedy – but you’ll end up learning something as well.

Now….what has all of this got to do with project management?  Well, to be honest, nothing directly, but quite a bit, indirectly.

At EarthPM our philosophy has always been that regardless of your position on climate change, sustainability, global warming, carbon trading or any number of controversial topics, the basic truths for a project manager remain the same: use a minimum of resources, link to your organization’s environmental policies, and think beyond the end of your project when you plan your project.  Those truths hold firm.

In any case, enjoy the video!
